WELCOME ALUMNI

2007-2008 marks the beginning of the South Fayette Alumni Association (SFAA).  The graduating class of 2008 will mark the 80th anniversary of graduation ceremonies for the district.  From Lafayette School’s first graduation class of 13 (on record) to the 156 graduates of the 2007 class of South Fayette High School our alumni roster exceed 6,700+.    

SOUTH FAYETTE WELCOMES BACK ALUMNI

The South Fayette Alumni Association welcomes all alumni back to school on Saturday, August 23, 2008 for the 2008 Welcome Home Event taking place during the Lion Pride celebration.  The fun begins at 4:30pm with a private alumni reception at the high school and follows with games, prizes, bingo and food booths from local restaurants at the stadium.  At 7:00pm, all alumni will assemble to take part in the Lion Pride parade featuring the “Little Green Machine”, current South Fayette high school sports team members and all alumni present.  The cost for the reception is $5.00 per person. If you are planning to attend the reception, please RSVP by August 13th to Maureen Pedzwater at (724) 693-3047 or email alumni@southfayette.org and leave your name and phone number.  If you are planning to march in the parade, PLEASE WEAR A WHITE SHIRT.

ATTENTION CLASS OF 1998

The South Fayette Class of 1998 will be holding their 10 year reunion on Saturday, August 30 beginning with a cocktail hour at 6:30 PM at the Rhythm House Cafe in Bridgeville.  Invitations were sent out during the week of May 12th but anyone needing more information  is encourage to contact Matt Welch or Carol (Fink) Garland at sfclass98@hotmail.com.

ATTENTION 1988 SOUTH FAYETTE HS GRADUATES

We are in the process of planning our 20 year class reunion. Please plan to attend the Homecoming Football Game October 3 with your families. The following evening will bean adults only dinner at the Grand Concourse - Station Square. Please contact Jamie Miller Sharp logty2000@yahoo.com or Sandi Johnson McMahon sandimcmahon@msn.comif you are interested in attending. Sheraton Station Square will be holding rooms for that weekend until September 1, 2008. Looking forward to seeing some old friends!
